Mama

Tammy

Last Friday after work I was greeted by my
brother who was home from college for Easter.
He was wearing a pink shirt that had a giant
puffy kittie laying on flowers on it. It was one
of those nasty shirts that fat 12yr old girls
who like unicorns & My Little Ponies wear.
I couldn't even believe that he wasted a dollar
on the shirt. So I decided that I would no longer
call him by his birth name, Bobby rather his
rebirth name, Tammy. Please do the
same if you see him.

Summer Time Blues

I just looked outside and its such a beautiful day
and I'm stuck inside my office which has
NO WINDOWS. This is just awful.
Why does it have to be so nice on the days I
work and on the weekend it rains. Grrr...
Evil tricks. Evil tricks.

I wish it was 5:00. I think my job is slowly
erasing my brain. I can barely think when I'm
done with it. Its numbing. And now my freaking
machine won't work. AGggghhh. That Staples
easy button would be really nice right now.
Although this task isn't hard its just a pain in
the ass.

I can't wait until summer. I love being warm &
wearing tank tops.

When Your a Jet...

Planning a vacation can be stressful espically when it involves 9 girls who can never make any decisions. Luckily for me littlemissy will be doing most of the planning. For those Jets who may read my blog here is her newsletter...

HEY JETS
1. I hope everyone is alive and thriving!! I know that after graduation, we appointed me to be the official reunion coordinator! Well I can't believe we've been out of school almost a year... we are getting so old... Anyway I know some of the jets have not seen each other since graduation what with some of us leaving the state or just getting really hectic jobs. (If we had just started the commune none of this would have happened
Okay enough with the formalities (I sound like some sort of class president on drugs)....
Reunion: I'M THINKING BEACH TRIP but nothing fancy... we'll leave the big trips for when we're all making millions (well I won't be... nor will Katie, Rachel or Laurie (Congrat's on the preschool job!!) but we have high hopes for hannah and julie and LeeAnn.and Andrea... (Is there money in trucks Katty?)
Okay back to the beach... I was talking with Richie and we were thinking Ocean City Maryland maybe the first weekend in August... I think the 4th to the 8th...
That date IS NOT a definite yet, so get back to me if it is bad for you... we want as many jets as possible to represent... So think it over... let me know what your thoughts are...
I want to book rooms soon though, so don't think it over for long, or I'll be hunting you down....
Okay well until I hear from you...

Take Care,
Missy

The Office

For those of you that missed the pilot episode of "The Office" you sure missed a gem of a show. Its like Seinfield and Office Space put together. Its based of a show of the same name from England and its quite smashing. Michael Scott (Steve Carell) makes the kookiest comments and I loved every one of them. One of the best scenes is when Scott punks his secretary. This show is worth watching. Its on Tuesdays at 9:30 on NBC.

WVU Gets Rowdy

This is just another example why there should be a electric fence around the state of West Virgina... (If I went to WVU I'm sure I would've joined in the fun)

WVU Fans Celebrate; Police Control Post-Game Revelers
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. -- After the West Virginia University win over Texas Tech Thursday, fans celebrated in the streets of Morgantown.
Firefighters and police officers were kept busy Thursday night and Friday morning during post-game celebrations. Some small fires were set, bottles were thrown and a few police officers were injured as they tried to control the rowdy crowd.

Morgantown Police Department said 35 small fires were reported and large unruly crowds gathered in the Sunnyside area and downtown. Four arrests were made but other arrests could follow. Several privately owned vehicles were overturned and one was destroyed by fire. Some police cars were also damaged by thrown objects.
West Virginia University officials released a statement Friday morning condemning the irresponsible behavior of some students.
WVU Vice President of Student Affairs said, "I want to commend local police and fire officials along with our own university staff on scene for both preventative measures taken before the game and responding quickly to post-game problems."
Morgantown officials are looking for ways to prevent these problems this weekend after the game against Louisville.

Weekend Bliss

This was the longest weekend...

****Thursday ****
Rachel, Jim, Matt,Tara & Me went to Baggy Knee to celebrate St Patrick's Day.
There were so many old people there we could barely move.
Old people should not be allowed out of the house after 7 until I get old then its OK.
Journeyed to Manhattan's afterward to get our dance on.
It was a meat market there.
Why couldn't there been that many men hanging out there when I was still in school. Grrr.
Didn't think I was as drunk as I was. I never think that though.
Luckily for me I had some nachos from Sheetz to soak it up.
Rachel got 3hrs of sleep and had to teach the next morning.
I can't imagine that was too fun.
I was drunk when I woke up at 11am so I can't imagine how she felt at 7am.

****Friday****
Went to a lovely dinner at Olive Garden with Jenny & Dan.
Had herb crusted Salmon and a few libations.
Met up with Rachel, Jim, LittleMissy, Laurie & Ryan at Manhattan's.
Tried to be responsible and not drink but that is very hard with friends.
After making fun of everyone possible there we went to Great Escape.
That was so exciting and trashy as usual.
One highlight was a huge black women who had a scrolling marquee belt.
I was too afraid to stare and find out what it said.
On the way out Rachel kicked off the mirror of someones car.
Went to Eat-N-Park to have some breakfast.
Wasn't as good as I remember.

****Saturday****
Had a promotion at a Gun Bash.
Doesn't really seem safe to be drinking and raffling off guns.
Only in PA.
I actually had a OK time trying to win money and drink beer.
Enjoyed the weather and went to Rachels to show off my basketball skills or lack of.
Went to Jonny's and hung out with some old high school friends.
Back to Manhattan's with Rachel and LittleMissy.
And finished up with Eat-N-Park again.

Not very eventful but fun nonetheless

Happy St Patrick's Day

Me and Richie left J-Town around 8 and headed down to the 'burgh for the annual St Patrick's Day Parade. We got to Randy's apartment in Shady Side around 9 at which point I promptley opened up a beer. I think that is the only day you can start drinking very early in the morning and not feel like an alcoholic. Good times... We left Randy's house around 11 hopping on a bus all the while drinking. Met up with Lee, Simpie, Snabber and Snabbers brother JP at the parade. Stayed for a wee bit yelled and got some candy from the parade marchers. We convinced Lee and them to come to Market Square with us and skipped down to continue our drinking. Got myself some green beer in a giant 1/2 yard cup and really began "Operation Get Drunk" with Richie. Had some JEB aka Cabana Boy from our flask along the way too... I wonder how much those bars make because at one point I was buying 5 beers for $15 thinking it was a steal compared to the $7.50 for the other beers. Lee and the others left after awhile and me and Richie hung with some of my friends from J-Town... We hooked up with Ivan, Pat, Jaras, Dan, Steve, Ray and some others after and continued to drink. It was fun seeing those guys again. Saw some other randoms along the way as well... Saw one kid from SVC mens soccer team getting arrested. Keith would've been proud. I wish I owned a Port-A-John because I would be a millionaire right now. There were so many people in lines for the bathrooms that people would've paid to use my bathroom. It would've been the cleanest ;) I waited in line for a freaking 1hr and 45mins one time only to have to pee in a poop/puke stall. Trust me it was not worth the wait. Next year I'm wearing a diaper. We eventually left Market Square and took the T over to Station Square. We wondered around for a wee second and then got in line for Bar Louie... We got there when it was very light out and left when it was very dark. So who knows how long we were actually there. Saw Flinny and her little brother but I don't remember much of the conversation. I just remember grabbing her brothers butt. It was hot. At one point I offered our waitress some Cabana Boy from the flask but she told me she couldn't because she goes to AA. I should not be allowed to drink in public. Whoops... I passed out on the table around 12:30 and then parted ways with Richie who went with the boys to the South Side and I trekked back to Shady Side with my HS friends. It was a long day of drinking but worth every second. Happy St Patrick's Day.

I'll have some pics soon...

    Locked in a Mall

This weeks episode of the OC has those beautiful crazy kids of Orange County locked inside a mall for a night. Now I'm sure a mall in the OC would be way better than the one in Greensburg but either way it would be rad. Athough it probably wouldn't be as much fun as it seems because all the stores close their doors so you wouldn't be able to get into any cool stores because they'd be locked. So knowing my luck I'd be stuck in Sears or something. At least I'd have powertools to do crafts with...

Things I would do if locked inside a mall (and could go anywhere):
    1. Ride a bike down escalator
    2. Play in the fountain
    3. Take the money from the fountain
    4. Throw big things from the upper levels into the fountain
    5. Climbs the miniature palm trees
    6. Break anything I could
    7. Walk around naked ;)
    8. Dump out the lotions from Bath & Body Works on the ground
    9. Chainsaw clothes
    10. Put all the male mannequins in drag

    What would you do?

    Backstreets Back, Alright?

As I was driving home after work listening to the radio a news flash came on. The Backstreet Boys will be singing and dancing their way back into Pittsburgh in April on a reunion tour. Its about damn time. I mean they were so good the first time around. Aj was the coolest and I just loved Nicks boyish charm. Aren't you excited. This is going to be like when we were supposed to believe that Dylan, Brandon, Brenda, Kelly, Donna, and Steve were really high school students. Tickets are $42. PLEASE. Thats a load of crap. Who would pay $42 for a Backstreet Boy ticket. Lets gets serious. I wouldn't have paid that during the "I Want It That Way" boom. You know who is going to go to that... Fat 35 year old women who were fans in 99' when they were 30 and shouldn't have been fans in the first place. Hang it up "BOYS?"

    I'm So Boring

Wow I suck lately at blogging but nothing interesting happens to me anymore. Actually interesting things never happened to me so I suppose I should be used to that.

I wish it would stop snowing already I really don't like it now that I don't go sled riding. Its just cold, wet, and prevents me from going places. Although I still look at hill and think that would be a wicked hill to sled ride down.

I haven't updated on the indoor soccer results because the "Bad News Bearcats" are offically back. It doesn't help that no one cares if we lose 10-0 every game. Idiots!

I like gum. Espically these Easter Egg ones from last Easter. Tasty.

Last friday I saw this 80s band tear it up. I swear Prince inhabitated this guys body when he sang "When Doves Cry" and a few other classics. I was in heaven.

I'm looking forward to downing gallons of green beer on Saturday in the burgh. I can't wait to wear my St Patricks Day stuff. It should be a good. A small J-E-T-S reunion is going to happen so you know there will be some trouble to be had.
